It seems to me you are finding your niche. Keep up the good work, and as Jiminy says, "practice, practice, practice."

Default Feels like I am going to school for free....

Thank you. I really enjoy photography and I plan on practicing as much as extra time will allow me too. This forum is great for meeting people like you, Jiminy,Saralonde and others who have so much terrific advice to give. I am really glad I heard of DPS. Feels like I am going to school for free.

Miche',

Seems like you're getting better as we watch! DPS does have liberal sliding scale for payment: the more you participate, the more you learn. Enjoy!

Default Thank you for your support..

To all,

To all those that I have encountered so far I just wanted to thank you for your support, kind words and honest criticisms. Soon as college is over I will be able to spend more time here on DPS and taking more pictures! So again, thank you for your advice. This has been a great experience for me.

I really like what you did with post processing here. I know very little about it... The brownish circle shadowing the forehead of a child and diagonal lines aiming to his heart have a really strong impact.

Sana,

As a beginner, I am uncertain myself about post-processing. Learning to back off when it feels right is probably the toughest thing for me to do since there are so many different processes to use. As the saying goes it is like being a "kid in a candy shop". This image I am overall happy with. However,I still think I could of backed off just a little to give his profile a little more definition.
