Default Standing Tall

Love the catchlight in his eyes and the interesting perspective. Is it a little OOF or were you trying for a b&w film grain look? That bright light draws your eye upward, but not to his face as much as to the bright light. His face becomes secondary. Not sure you want that! The window in the background also draws attention away from your subject.

It will be difficult to paint out because of the grain effect. The easiest solution would be to crop off the bottom half of the picture (from just above where the window frame meets the body). The picture will look markedly different but a quick "hand mask" test suggests that you will still have the sense of him standing over you.
