Default Love..Mommy and baby nursing

This image I am totally perplexed about how to get a sharper or better picture out of it. I love the shot but it is out of focus I think, too fuzzy.

It says it's private, so we can't see it.

Try setting your camera to macro mode or Close Up mode (I think that's what your Kodak calls it). In normal mode, your camera has to be at least 20 inches away from the subject, but in Close Up mode, you can get as near as 4 inches provided that your zoom is all the way out (wide).

Default Thank you

Smc,

Thank you for that advice. That picture was taken before I knew anything about macro mode. But is there anything I can do to enhance the photo now in PS or is it too late?

You can try the sharpening filters to see what you can do, but I'm guessing that it'll be a lost cause.

smc1377 is right. This OOF (out of focus) is a real hard fix. You can try sharpening in post processing, but that really only works well for minor fixes. Just keep this shot for your memories .

well the other option is really just going in and digitally "painting" it all.. but then again, that wouldn't really be a photograph anymore..
yeah, alas, no magic wands for OOF..

Selzer,

Would you mind explaining a little further some of the tools I would use to paint the image? Thanks!

Miche',

Without adding extra noise, this is about as far as I could get:

Nursing
