Default Too much Photoshop?

(Photo Public now)I really tried to hold myself back this time. I still think it is too much PS. What do you think? (Photo public now)

Miche',

This is one of those "expression is everything" shots that may survive whatever is done to it. You did hold back enough to leave the character in the face (more detail is a goal, maybe not yours). Many forms of art, many drummers to listen to. You could crop more to feature that expressiveness, removing some right and bottom. Alternate drumbeat. If there's a selection of flash strength on camera, you would get more face, less background.

I may go out and rent a kid. Great subjects, they work cheap, and usually make great photos. Maybe a cat.

Jiminy,

I think you are right once more. The background is more predominant than the subjects features. A flash feature would probably fix that(hope I have one). The crop is a good suggestion too. With your help and others, my eyes are starting too mature a little I am starting too see images differently. It's a good thing. Now if i could just wave a magic wand over my head and magically figure out Photoshop I would be all set.

Hey Jiminy,

The nice thing about renting a kid is that you can always end them back where they came from....

mikem12188,

Puns are a symptom of cabin fever. As is redundancy and repeating things.
