Default White Daffodil

Hello...

erm..I took this picture of a Daffodil a couple days ago and wondered what could make it better.

That one has been edited a bit to blur the background, I also cropped it a bit.

Unfortunatly I deleted the original (oops) But feel free to edit this one any way you like.

I would suggest a re shoot. I like the strong light from behind the flower, however the large bright background is a negative space. Try more green or ground in the background

Yup, this is exactly what I was thinking.

i agree with the other comments...but I would also like to say I really like the perspective of the flower it seems like it jumps out at the viewer, I also like how the light is coming through the petals it creats a almost surreal feel... overall i like the idea of the shot and I think with a more neutral background it will really stand out more!

Yes, I deffinetly agree with the others. But is there any possible way to get in closer? I dont know if its just me, but your subjects seems lost in the overall picture, because theres so much background space. If you cant, then simply crop it more, so the daffodil takes up most of the frame.

Ant,

A slight change, based on suggestions, without the reshoot. Lots of choices.
