Arrow Melting Inwards

I came across this during a walk with the boys and just thought it was very cool how the leaf had melted downwards into the snow.

I'd appreciate any ways to made this photo really pop.

Right now I have Adobe Photeshop Elements on my comp. I would take both suggestions and samples. Ye guys are the pros, I am the noob eager to learn.

Looking at the photo, the leaf seems to have melted quite a way in.

I got a similar blur effect when I took an ice shot of the ice cream container - Interesting

No clue about any of that. I didn't know about RAW until I read a photography book this week.
