Default A Setting - Composition

Hi all,

Thought I'd muck around with my own camera now. EOS 400D has been dormant for a while. Let me know what you think...

bokkie,

Why two different site names? And such different photos. The 1-and-a-half ChocoTopping cylinders aside, this is an interesting composition. Focus is uncertain, because of side partial lighting I'd guess, and where you read the light value.

Edge of table into black, distracting not in a good way. Moved to a stronger-lit position, the three central objects would stand a better chance of yielding a good photo. This is progress, compared to the cup.

Thanks.

I was at home this time using my own camera.

I guess one thing I should do from now on is give a bit more detail about the shot.

It was about something to 6pm and I was trying to use what light I could from outside. I guess I could have moved the chair away on the left but was concentrating too much on the objects.

Oh and the other site name well I was having trouble logging in.

I don't bring my good camera to work which is the canon eos 400d so I am using a canon ixus 60 which isn't bad but I prefer the 400D.

Oh also the shot was hand held. I should have used the tripod to get a more stable shot.
