Hibiscus Super Macro

Good, but some work on your composition needs to be done.

How about moving the stamen over a bit and a side profile wouldn't hurt. Also you shot this from what it looks like in the middle of the day. To avoid harsh light you shoot near the end of the day or in the beginning.

Good attempt though. Keep perfecting it.

Beautiful color in this shot. Nice close-up, I like how the flower fills the frame. Focus seems to be on the outer edges of the petals, if I'm seeing it correctly. Perhaps focus should be on the stamen.

Thanks for the advise. This shot was take on the sidewalk in Tarpon Springs, FL. It was around 10:00 A.M. no tripod.

I can't take a close-up without a tripod; never comes out well for me.
