Default My son

Hi!

My first post on here. This is my son nursing. I took the pic with my digital rebel xt on manual. i only have the kit lens. i got it by taking lots of shots while leaning back and holding the camera w/one hand and adjusting the lens a little each time. It seems like it could be improved. Critique, please!

Renee,

You should get extra credit for a difficult shot. Monitors show these photos differently; mine was dark enough to spur an attempt to see how an alternative might have looked. Hope it's okay with you; was original in color? Did you take more than one, and if so were they a bit motion-blurred as well? I fixed the catchlight in the eye to reduce the appearance of blur.

Could you tell us settings on camera at time of taking?

Hi Renee,

Hope you don't mind my edit. I have adjusted the curves and added a sepia filter in photoshop CS2.

I think the pic would be great if his face wasn't so covered up.
