Default what do you think about the processing on these two pictures?

i don't have photoshop so i don't edit much of my photos. i was messing around with the program that was included with my camera (photostudio) just to see what happened. with this picture i was going for a sort of old newspaper look to it. guess i could have tried a more desaturated sephia, but i didnt think about it until i was typing this. ha!

cropped, flipped, and differently processed version of the picture above. reminded me of this MC Escher painting my dad had when i was a kid. well, kind of.

C&C?

mdwsta4,

First: a good overall photo, PP takes it into etched look, almost pre-photography. Details?

Second: the Escher with the fish morphing into birds? The (now) right-side-up reflection makes this one; thinking outside the (flipped) box.

other than adjusting contrast i used unsharp mask a handful of times then added some film grain. i converted it to B&W using a RAW converter.

no, i was thinking of a puddle a car drove through (or was it feet?) and trees were refelcting in it. pretty sure it was MC Escher. if it wasn't, it was very MC Escher-ish.
