Yeah I agree the subject really pops out from the background and makes you feel the movement of the jump. The only thing that I think would have liked (just a matter of preference) is that the backgourn horizon was square and not tilted, it would have showed us more about the angle the person was at while in air.

awesome shot! i don't mind the horizon tilted in a situation like this. while i like the texture of the sky, i don't think all of it's necessary and cropping it a bit might look better. if the skater were more in the air it would make sense, but it's just distracting.
