I'm trying to get better at my photo's at work.

So what exactly do you do at work that you need to take surgery photos? I think it would be better if we actully knew what we were looking at, although I can imagine that the tight focus is more what you probably need for work.

You are looking at a heart. There is mostly scar tissue over it so the heart is not clearly identifiable. Basically, I am trying to take a picture of the incision made into the junction of the heart and aorta (located at the 6 o'clock position in the picture, just above the silver instrument). I need pictures of similiar anatomy for published articles in medical journals. I just bought a 100mm macro but have not tried it yet.
