Hi,
After learning for sometimes, finaly I am brave enough to post my picture for your critique. The picture was taken using infrared filter in manual mode with Av=2.7 and Tv=15 seconds. I put camera on the ground, head up and shoot with automatic timer to avoid shake. I still have a problem in setting focus using infrared filter. I set focus before putting in the filter. Then I took the picture using focus braketing, and this one is the best focus (2 stops nearer) among 3 shoots. But I am still not satisfied with the result. Any suggestion? The attached picture is the original (no touch at all), I just resize it. The full size is available in myFlickr. Any critique is welcome... Thanks in forward. Rgds, |

Neat picture. I've never used an IR filter, so I don't really have any suggestions for how to get better focus. Did you make sure to focus on what you wanted, then switch your lens over to Manual focus so that the focus didn't change once you put the filter on?
And as a side note: Directions on how to post a photo from your flickr account on the forums are in the FAQs that way you don't have to upload and post a link And finally, Welcome

The "copy and paste" text is below the picture. Perhaps we should do a FAQ with screenshots?
