Default God took a peek

Hello, I recently acquired a DSLR and Im playing with it lately, I took this with f/11, 1/1000sec at ISO100,
Post Processing Done:
Image Resizing, Unsharp Mask, Curves, and Dodge

I also noticed a lot of noise after the post processing, i think its the unsharp mask, can anyone confirm this?
Anyways, comments are appreciated

Great picture, and even better viewed larger over on your Flickr account.

Unsharp mask certainly could be responsible for "noise"; it bumps up the contrast between anything that it thinks is a dividing line. In a shot like this, you might want to selectively apply the effect using a mask to paint out the areas where it doesn't work (or start with a grey mask, so you you can paint in more sharpening with white and less with black).
