Beautiful shot. Excellent colours, textures, composition. Very well spotted. I love that all the colours are so deep and rich, very pleasing to look at.
Your sunset shots are quite nice but a little dark. I personally prefer sunset shots when the sun is still lighting the entire sky, but yours are neat too... the only thing I might suggest is that you crop the right side a little - I find it quite dark and it seems to pull my attention away from the rest of the shot. Very nicely done. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

My preference for cropping would be some of the lightness off the left, as I love the darkness of the right but keep being pulled to the lightness of the rocks/dirt on the left. All this goes to prove you've got no chance of pleasing everyone Suze |

sarahfstowe,
Sunset: glorious colors, maybe crop dark area, maybe fewer boats. Or not.

Yes i am living in the Caribbean for 2-3 years on a small island in the Grenadines, most days it is very sunny so it does help with taking some nice pictures.
I have added a few more for you to look at. Last edited by sarahfstowe; 02-28-2007 at 12:05 PM. |
