Default Wandering Town

This shot was again taken downtown Austin last year, but it's been a popular one in my PBase gallery and I'm curious to know what y'all think.

I like the b&w contrast, their expressions and the fact that they're looking at me... I don't like that I cut out the guys' feet, or that there's a truck directly behind them. This was shot at 300mm so I wasn't right on top of them... but they happened to spot me anyways.

Please tell me what you think: *click here for larger image

It is a pretty interesting subject. Nice capture as they appear to be looking at the viewer when you look at the image. A little cropping at the top while maintaining the aspect ratio may improve the image.

I think hsroxas is right about cropping some off the top. Too bad you can't take a little off the top and add it to the bottom. Interesting shot, makes you wonder what the stories are behind these two. The truck doesn't bother me too much. Maybe it could be a little more OOF, but I don't feel it's jumping out at me.

Ditto here, some cropping would bring the photo to the viewer. You could even go as far as cropping in as close as the back of the wheel chair, and a little bit PS to get rid of the 504 on the truck in the background. Would love to see the results of some cropping.
