I like the silhouette idea, but I think the sun is a little to bright. Maybe, if you would have waited for it to go down a little bit, you would have gotten a more subtle effect along with richer colors. Overall though I like it.

I agree with Digidave. But in all I like it. I really like the colour of the sea. Its a really nice smooth colour. Great shot

Yup, I to like the color of the sea. You probably would have lost that by waiting for better color from the sky. Bummer!

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't even realize how bright the sun was until it was pointed out. Which is of course the whole point of this exercise - to learn.

my 2 cents:
while I like the silhouette concept, I'm not really sure what the main silhouette is :x I think it works but at the same time not knowing what it's a silhouette is of kind of takes away from the photo
