Default Park Bench II

Hi,

I took this shot when I visited Brooklyn Bontanic Garden and took this quite and lonley bench.. It was 23deg on that day. I play with some color and vignetting with Lighroom.
Quite and loney bench.

Wow, love this. I like the way the light hits it and makes it seem longer with the light running out on the end. Great job.

KLNYC,

Benches photographed from a rare angle, such as through an arm rest, or in a more 3/4 pose, seem to catch my eye more and fill the frame better. Your focus is good and B/W suits the scene. Just a composition rethink might lead you to even better shots

I agree with Jiminy, perhaps an angle from a bit lower would change perspective enough to make the front of the bench seem bigger. Then again, a bit higher and further back would elongate the frame of the bench, go with the vertical lines of the bench, catch the front legs also. I'd love to see a bit more sharpness in the texture of the bench itself. The BW conversion works.

Thanks, I do like the shot!

Scampi!
