Hi,

Lovely shot, but i cant help but feel its too dull, i know, i contradicted myself, but with a slight adjustment of levels or curves, you could make the image pop alot more,

This is a good shot, but i feel some slight improvements would make it a great shot,

ike,

Great shot. My eye is troubled when it comes to the soft sky against that crisp landscape. When you see the sky, it makes me think of meadows, a lovely playground with children playing. But then I see the water and landscape and I'm thinking.... that would be awesome with a great sunset behind it! Of course, these are IMO. I think you did a great job in the depth of field in this one.

Hello! Nice shot, but as Ike recommended it, you should play a little with the levels, because the front ground is too black to me.

It has great potential, but I feel the colors might be a bit stronger. You could easily change this with Photoshop, and it might make it feel more alive somehow.

I like the negative space in this shot. I agree with the others that the pic needs to be a little brighter. Try taking all of the color out of the photo in your favorite editing tool and see how you feel about it. Also try taking a longer exposure next time and then see if that makes for a stronger picture.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your thoughts. I thought the image had potential, but I knew something was missing. I have a number of exposures of this shot each a bit longer/shorter. I will play with it in PS LR.

Yep! This looks much better than the other photo with less exposure! More light gives more life to the photo!
