A Nikon D70s, a few lenses, add flashguns to your taste. Stir well. Serve warm.

The light is nice and the shallow depth of field help separate the subject from background.
The light is smooth, and the beverage has a sweet golden color. The expression of the lady is really candide. I like that she is framed on the left, with room for the setting.
But she is maybe a little too cropped... Maybe if you had zoomed a little less.

Hey, in the background isn't it another shutterbug holding a point & shoot cam?

EDIT : What were your settings? (ISO, Aperture, Speed, lens used, focal selected)

It seems that you have good enough gear to begin with.
The D50 is a good piece of camera, and I reckon you got it in kit with two zoom lenses?
