That looks great! Thanks for the suggestion ... I will definitely do something similar with it on my Mac. I've been trying to implement new angles and such even as I'm framing the shot ... but sometimes I forget.
I just registered for a photography class at our local community college and I'm hoping that some of these things will become more second nature to me.

Good for you, Laura! I am seeking the time to sneak in a class myself. But with a full time job, two children under 5 and a photography habit... well, you get the picture.
Since you mentioned a Mac, one thing that helped me when I was transitioning from taking photos for myself to doing so for others, was the program Aperture. It has many more controls than iPhoto, and it keeps me organized (left to my own devices, I am certainly NOT organized). Aperture also manages edits you make in Photoshop. For what it's worth. They were offering a 30 day free trial. If that is still good and you try it, beware-- the trial is what got me hooked into buying their software. Happy shooting!
