Hey, happilyinvisible! You have been busy, and you are hardly invisible any more! I have been sitting here trying to decide whether I like this photo or not or want to suggest changes or not. I have spent entirely too much time looking. I've decided I mostly like it. There are only a couple of changes I would make. If I could, I would get the meter to register on the lighthouse. That would have brought out the details in the white area which is over exposed. Of course that might have under exposed the darker deep water and rendered it black. If this lighthouse is local, take the same shot under different lighting and weather conditions.

Early morning or late evening would probably be best. A few clouds in the background would help as well. Then again, a night shot using a tripod and the self-timer to reduce vibrations would be interesting, especially in a light fog so the light beam would be visible.

I can see all kinds of possibilities with this one. I wonder what this shot looked like in color?

Default Hi,

I'm just a beginner but I thought I'll stop by and I really like your picture, I'm personally a big sucker for black and white pictures. Real nice job

Default Nice light house- dim sky

have to agree that the sky needs a bit of fixing. I also like B&W however the sky nees some clouds to set it off. AgainI agree that you should reshoot in different light- try early am and late Pm Even a stormy day would be great!! I think you have the making of a great picture....

Like the shot but yes, some clouds would definitely make this a super shot, and watch your histogram
