Default Mississippi Snow

These were random shots as I was not prepared for this to actually happen.
Now the camera used is a Canon S2IS and my question is would the Lens attachments from LenseMate actually cause these to look better and if so how much better?

The photo on the left - with the vehicles - almost has a sense of motion in spite of the fact that they are parked. There's almost a sense of the hazard that comes from unexpected snow - the gray car in the background and the oblique angles emphasize this.
