Default Polarizing Filters

I've been reading DPS for a while now, but this is my first post here in the forums, so I want to start by saying "hi!" I just picked up a polarizing filter, and I'm still getting used to it. I know it's often used to get more color in the sky in bright daylight, so I'd appreciate any comments on how I did with it.

This is the Arthur Ravenel Bridge over the Cooper River in Charleston, SC.

Wonderful colors and great persepctive ont he bridge. I might suggest cropping a little closer to the bridge as my eyes are tending to gravitate more towrds the sky than to the bridge.

This is a very cool pic , I like the color, p lenses are great, and the way you set up your shot , good work ,the only thing I would do is a slight crop on the right to have the lines both at the corner of the shot , I think that would add even more of an impact ,but love your shot . Thanks for sharing .

i like the perspective on this shot, and the vivid color of the sky. i agree with snapdragon on the crop, though.

very nice. i like the blue-white a lot! i should get myself such a filter!

about the crop. I would suggest something. If you would take the photo from a bit different angle, so that the white "strings" which hold the bridge are more visible. A bit bigger angle, less parallel view. I think that would give it more movement. Hope you know what I mean
