I love this shot! I haven't seen your other shots of Shadow (what a cutie). What I especially like is that all the colors in shot tie together...his eyes, his coat, his bed, the lights behind and the wall all take on the same warm tones. I wouldn't change a thing!

Default Inspired

Sometimes, i don't have a clue as to what i'm doing in photography. I perform all the proper procedures in getting a good capture and still, i fall way short. I did so much to insure this capture having a quality outcome. So Geaux, and all who have some positive critique on my work, i have to say, thank you, cuz i like to think i'm on the right track..

Shadow's beautiful! I just feel like he's going to fall off the chair...

Otherwise, nice crisp and clear shot!

Default Just So You All Know......

The phone numbers on my dogs tag around his collar, are to the rescue shelter we recieved him from. Just in case he gets lost, you could call any of those numbers, for someone to pick him up. Then the shelter would in turn contact me, to pick him up. Although i appreciate everyones concern here, i am in no danger of anyone obtaining any of my personal information. If anyone chooses to call any of those numbers on my dogs tag, the will get someone, with lots of barking in the background. So guys, please no more messages about the tag. Thanks

I swear shadows getting cuter in every shot
I also this the angle makes me think the dog is going to fall over and I also believe that having all of his head and ears in the shot would benefit the shot.
I love the eyes here! I also like the lighting and colours. This shot is much less distracting than the last one. The look on shadow's face is also a winner
Can't wait to see more of shadow again soon
btw how old is shadow?

BEEZY,

The face of Shadow could not be better. Where the face is located, could.

The tag printing, not a concern. That the tag is cut off by the chair arm, distracting.

The three bright orange lights, without explanation, are distracting and keep pulling viewer down and out of photo frame.

Shadow looks as if he is stuck in a box that is too small for him, and has pushed his way up into that corner.

Shadow's head is tilted to the left and it's placed in the left half. Better to have head on right, looking left. Just a pan of the camera would change the majority of concerns.
And backing up one foot to get second ear.

Too negative? OK, Shadow has a sweet face. Thank you for sharing.

Default Wow!!!

I never thought i'd get so many comments on my work. I appreciate all perspectives, both positive, and negative. From each comment, i will cherry pick to take what i can use to elevate my vision to bring it that much closer in becoming a reality. Also, to the fans of my dog, yes i will post more images of him. After all, he is my star, also he loves the attention i give when i photograph him.
