You have captured a farm feel quite beautifully by my view. The color, clarity and composition are pleasing. Your angle is quite effective. This is a great subject and placing the barn in the shot where you did demonstrates your good eye. Yes, I concur with your own critique; and small added comment, I think I would have tried this with the partial tree completely out of the frame. Just a thought. Great shot!!

The composition seems a bit heavy in the middle, and overall it's a bit cluttered, your eye has trouble focusing on something. I think more DOF would have helped, if the barn were blurry it would serve a nice background element but the attention would be clearly on the tractor. That'd be tricky though because it looks like you used a pretty wide lens here.
The high ISO settings are obviously best when there's not much light. If I have a tripod and the scene's not moving then I stick with the low ones. But when you don't have much light and need to shoot handheld the super-high ISOs can be a godsend. |

JerInTheBox makes a valid point that I had not considered...heavy in the middle. I still like the photo kim...and it is valuable to receive these different perspectives.
