with this shot i thought no at the start to adding the power pole at the time off taking the shot but at second look i thought the poll gives a small distraction but keeps with the title of the shot

striking color! What I find lacking in this photo is something definitive set against this georgeous sky you have captured...like a sillouette image that communicates more than...ooo, pretty sky.

Power poles and lines are often looked at as unsightly in photos; however, in this particular case, you could have made a larger silouette of a pole/lines to the right a subject in your photo thereby enhancing the lovely sky backdrop. The theme of your photo could have been 2 forms of power: man-made pole transport and the sun, made by the workings of the universe....both captured in one image.

I know that it's hard to escape them, but the power lines are slightly distracting. I agree with geotography that a sort of "profound" element such as the silhouette of a single person along the outline of the horizon would give the picture a more striking element.
It is a beautiful shot, though.
