Hello -
Shot this one without flash or softbox in natural light coming from right. I tried to reduce the glare on the right side of bangle by holding a translucent paper just right of the bangle. Kept the bangle on a semi transparent glass table and inserted piece of black paper to create reflection. ![]() I tried to put a small reflector in front to remove the unlit area in front, but it was blowing off so removed it. Any critiques & improvement suggestions which I can try without spending money (am currently I am broke!!!) Regards, Aakash

Greetings aakash_vakil,
Yes, nice take. jdwalz makes excellent points...particularly the DOF modification. I suggest you flip this to portrait format just for fun perhaps with it not centered but rather running along the right vertical "rule of 3rd line." One thing about doing that is that the position imitates the position the bracelet would be if a person wearing it were looking at it.

Thanks both of you!! It makes me feel happy when I see such result with cheap DIY stuff I keep learning and experimenting!!!
I will try the shot with greater DoF...... Regards, Aakash
