Of the three you just posted, this one is the most interesting to me. When I look at the whole image, the snail and the pinecone in back compete for my attention. When I scrolled the screen down and cut off the top third of the photo, the 'face' of the snail became the clear subject. Because of the round shell, an almost square crop works well for this image. I like the texture on the shell and on the snail, however, I think the shell could be toned down just a bit. I know there are ways in PS to also tone down the grass (but I don't know how) or at least clone out the bright golden piece on the left right next to the snail.

From another member point-of-view, trying every aspect of photo presentation will, at the very least, give you an idea of what's available to you, how it may affect what people think of your shot, and what you definately like and dislike. It will help you to comment and critique with a broader range of suggestions for others' work, too. (As round as your snail is, and as nondescript as the grass is, a square would work fine.)
