Default Pure Blue Sky

Hi Everyone,
I'm a new member of DPS and looking forward for tips and suggestions to improve my photography skills. Actually i'm new to the SLR's features like aperture, shutter , white balance etc as I have recently bought NIKON D50 and needs to learn more on this.

This one I had taken from the aircraft, cruising at 30000 ft around 8:00 am in the morning.

Well done! Nice clear blue sky. Did you use any filter attached to the lens?

I think most photogs and travelers have a shot like this at some point. Mine never turned out so clear whether the windows were hazed or scratched or the skies not as clear.
