Default My Very First Collage

Martin Luther King Collage

My son ( the one in all images with him in the cardboard box ) had a history
project, where each student had to pick a famous person to imitate. Each student had to come up with their own speech, and prop setup like the ones you see in wax musuems, where you would approach their table, press a button, and the student would give a brief autobiography of that person they portrayed. So i brought my camera to document my sons experience as Martin Luther King, and when i got home, i uploaded all the images into Photoshop CS3, and put together the collage.

Beezy, Welcome

Excellent work and project idea aside, do you see our dilemma? In "Critique My Shot," a single photograph is posted, given as much Critique as time and interest allow, and then we move on. The 30-plus extra photos here are priceless to your son's future memories, but we don't have a collage section (yet!), so you might try Post Processing or the Chat threads. I'll add that a grid plan would give a more varied arrangement, with even gutters (space between photos) and perimeter less scattered. Neatly done as is.

There was a discussion about how a collage can be tuned up with some changes:

This is DPS member sagelike31's work on top, some suggestions and changes I offered after that.
