Bellevue WA, early morning walk to work

I read an article this morning on converging lines, which also included a link introducing me to this site. This is the second (of 2) initial photos where I'm curious about how the converging lines impact the photo, and how the photo composition measures up in general.

Critique as you please.

Good eye for seeing the converging lines. Two things come to mind. The line leads my eye to the flagpole which is dark and probably not your intended subject as the brighter sun wants to draw me to it. Secondly, the direction of the flow leads my eyes quickly out the right side of the frame because there isan't a significant subject to keep me looking in the frame.
