Default Bridge View At Night

I took this while I was out skateboarding tonight, I think I could of made a better job, possibly by making the shutter speed a little better. First photo I've liked since I got my new camera
Hope you like it, please feel free to cc it to it's death!

I like your shot ,nice color for a night shot but I think it would work better with a slight crop , the far right did not seem to add to the photo and the bridge looked a little floaty , for lack of a better word LOL ,not very tec am I . I did a slight crop , hope you like it .

I like the parallel lines of the two bridges.

Jordan Murray, Welcome

Here's a good guide to help you move around Critique. The part about keeping your photo's longest side at 600 pixels or less:

The 'Rules' for this Critique Forum

Half a photo in black would have been more serious in film use days. Now it's just not an interesting part of a digital image. Had the sky been lit and cloudy from a long exposure and waiting for weather to cooperate, there'd be a reason to include it. It cuts your composition in half, not so good.

snapdragon's edit got you closer. Study some, look into, read about the compositional guide of the Rule of Thirds. Find out how to shoot with sharper focus at night.
