Default Glowing from my fireplace

Please let me know what you think.
I sat my camera pretty much in the fire for this one.
ok... well.. maybe not IN the fire.
ISO 320, 135mm length, 1.5 sec at F6.3

It may be my monitor but it seems a little too out of focus. And not fond of the big coal in front of the log, in the corner. Its lacking composition, remember rule of thirds. Must have been hot!

windrider86 has touched on the key critique points. If you like something about the fire, it may be fun to draw back to a wider shot and create some subjects with the fireplace as a secondary subject in the photo. Do you have a large dog that enjoys sleeping in front of the fireplace?
