Hi snapperboy:
mmm what can I say. I really like this shot. I think you captured the fireworks, pretty well. Colors are great, composition is great. The way you included the buildings works perfect to give a perspective and distance. I know other members will give you more hints and tips but for me, there is not much improvement surface to work on it. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing it!

Wow. Very cool. I know that it's very hard to capture fireworks (Especially in light-polluted Seattle 7 miles away... D: ) But you did this very well. The colors are amazing. The only thing I would do is crop out the building on the left. I tried it with my hand and it looked 10x better.

Wow fantastic job, you've greatly captured the "atmosphere" of the fireworks. Cannot add much toughts too it. I also really like the darker version very much, it emphasizes the fireworks even more. It might be a silly question, but Nathan, what kind of changes did you do the photograph, I am thinking about the technique.

I have to disagree with Nathan's work here, I think the original is much better, and blue in the sky looks amazing with the fireworks and silhouetted buildings. Nice job!

I really like the original. It gives meaning to what is happening. The second just says there were fireworks. Really a great shot.

I like the original - maybe with the left-hand building cropped out. Seeing the lighting and smoke gives it some ambiance - in this case, I don't think I like it darkened. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

The original is a great shot ,I would not change the lighting ,the colors are beautiful against the evening sky ,and you captured great detail in the buildings too that is what makes this shot so good ,IMO . Great job ,love it .
