I love it! I love when people take a "boring" object and photograph it in an interesting way. I like the contrast too (dark on the left, light on the right)... what a cool shot. (I'd clone out the two little dark spots on the left side though).

The black and white adds to the simplicity. I too like the shadows. Do more shots. The objects in the top of the frame are a distraction for me. Nice work.

Great shot. I like the contrast and the play of the vertical lines and shadows. I also find the stuff at the of top of the photo where the shadows meet the top of the curtains to be distracting. Perhaps a crop may help or maybe a slightly differant angle if you can retake the photo. It is still good as is though IMHO.
