Default Autumn Morning

jay_deewilliams@verizon.net, on Flickr">Autumn Morning

Is this to dark? Took it on my way to work in the morning. Cropped it quite a bit and played with it on my editor. Any Thoughts?

Doesn't look too dark to me. Looks very nice actually.
One thing I do notice is that the focus looks soft. I'm not sure how much you cropped this, but it may have needed to be sharpened a little bit. Especially for web-viewing.

I am getting jealious.... If this is the place where you are living then you are probably one of the extreamly lucky people....U dont have to smell out the toxic gas left by the cars and.... oh I cant thought.. I would probably print a small postcard with this shot(with your permission of course) and put this on my seat in Bus..
Well enough dreaming... Now for the shot I am agreeding with Japaslavian.. a bit sharpening is all it need... and would you care to give us EXIF data.. coz I am thinking that you have a negative exposure comemsation when you hit shutter button...
otherwise its a really breathtaking shot...

First word that popped into my mind after viewing your shot? "other-world-ly" (Even the word isn't from this world).

Very nice scene, I can see why you would stop and take the shot.

I don't think it's too dark. If you're not sure, try increasing vibrance and/or saturation slightly and see what it looks like.

If this is already cropped, can I suggest going back to the original and make the crop a little wider so that we see a little more on the LHS of the barn and a little shorter to remove some of the foreground. Personally I'd like to see the scene rotated slightly so that the line breaking the brown field and the green bushes is horizontal.

And lastly to quote ClockDoc, try flipping the whole image horizontally and see what you think.

Thanks to all the positive feedback. I am really new at this and the editing part. How do you do a horizontal flip? Is it the same as the mirror where you flip directions?

What a lovely shot! I actually don't mind the soft focus. It reminds me of a nice little Bob Ross painting... =) The "happy little bushes" in front of the shed are very interesting. I would try the horizontal flip if possible so the subject is on the right. It may not do anything for the shot, but there's a chance it may keep your eye in the frame a little longer. I've been trying that with a lot of my shots lately and had some interesting results.
Thanks for sharing the photo, it is gorgeous. =)

If you have access to photoshop its in the edit menu. Scroll down to Free transform menu and its towards the bottom. Nt sure with other apps.
