Hi all, I just ran across this site today while browsing around and thought this was a great idea. I havent posted my pictures anywhere really for critiquing before, and im interested in what everyone has to say. Here are a few pictures...
This picture I intentionally lowered the saturation of the colors to make it seem 'colder' or 'deader'. The trees were frosted over after a cold winter storm some aspen trees during the fall. Both pictures were taken with a 5mp point and shoot. Last edited by reiwan; 01-16-2008 at 03:10 AM. |

Hi reiwan,
Welcome to this forum. Thanks for posting your photo...oh, I should remind you to take a look at the posting rules on the first page of "Critique Your Shot," one of which limits each thread to one image. My critique will be of the first image. I like the way the dark, slender trunks contrast with the the white, feathery frost and dead foliage. The image is rather small...I feel this need to see where these trees grow...that is I want to feel more grounded when I look at this landscape.
