Default Reflection Pool

I took this at our college's "reflection pool", which ironically after I put on my computer I saw it almost completely reflected the other side of the street. I was just taking pictures of water but love the way it turned out.

For post processing I cropped and changed the levels a bit, then gave it a horizontal flip.

Good eye for the abstract. May I ask why you gave it a horizontal flip? As shown, the diagonal line leads ones eye up and out of the right side of the frame. Perhaps seeing the original orientation may prove to be stronger in that sense. The sharp, dark items in the foreground under the water tend to distract more than add value. You may want to try cropping them out to see if there is a visual difference.

I had it flipped cause I heard it can make some shots more "interesting" I guess, but I've been looking at it and don't like it flipped. Here is a shot of the non-flipped version.
The leaves are a bit distracting, but at the same time if I crop them out it seems like I'll be cropping a lot of the "blue" water out.

There is never a real "right" or "wrong" with abstract shots such as this. The art is in the eye of the beholder. If it pleases you, that is what is important. All the other suggestions are just opinions. Kep shooting!
