Default Girl Dancing

Cristie Dancing 4x6

This is a pic of someone I work with dancing at a bar when we were all out. I was more looking to capture the fun look she had then the actual dancing.

Thoughts?

As is often the case with pictures in this section, the title is misleading: "Girl Smiling" might have been better.

Since there is not much going on behind her, I would be tempted to crop to a portrait format, closing in on her face and hair and making that cheeky grin more prominent.

You might also want to do some post processing to tone down the unflattering combination of flash and perspiration that gives such bright highlights on her nose and cheek.

psykon99,

Wulf shared excellent points to consider; no need to reiterate those. The focus appears good and you clearly captured those lovely brown eyes. Yes, try to soften this look a bit. I am not a flash fan; but you seemed to use it to some advantage.

Best,
