Raw Noise.

This is one of the holidays shot I took while visiting the Guiness Brewery in Dublin. I found the setting interesting and the blue lighting on the right side adding a lot.
Also I do not remember on which thread I read that using a fixed focus lens will help a lot in terms of compostion, but I have to thank this person a lot! I bouhgt the Canon 50mm f/1.8 for Christmas, and I realized that I spent much longer thinking about the shots I wanted to take before actually shotting it!



I have not done any post processing to it, althought I am feeling that the blue light and the metal are a bit too "warm" (I would say too reddish if it make any sense at all? ) compared to what I remember. Let m know what you think.

With the flood of members and posts this got overlooked somehow. Sorry bout that.
I like the shot and agree its a bit too cool. Maybe just going in and warming that area up some. The only thing I can see as a problem is the fact all things tell us as the viewer to look at the window and there really is no interest there. The arrow and the words lead the eyes over that way. I like the fact you kept the iron in it to frame the shot a bit though.
The 50mm is a terrific lens that every shooter should own and it is a huge stepping stone into learning to better set up your shot.
Congrats on the new lens and enjoy the site.....its a great place for all levels of photographers!
