Wonderful! It is a bit blurry and there's no Exif to help me. It looks like you have the Aperture cranked down a little to create a clear ball and a slightly blurry face. This may have exacerbated camera shake and or/the child's movement. Looks like this may be a fairly easy one to reproduce given a tripod. Add some more light and you should be able to speed the shutter up.

canugurl, Welcome

Is that a plum? It may have more focus than the eyes, and those are the heart of the photo. If a moment like this comes again, eyeseyeseyes. It bears repeating. Good shot anyway.

It is a plum. Got it...I've been walking around chanting, "eyes, eyes, eyes" in my head with hopes that I'll remember that mantra when it comes time to shooting another spur of the moment shot like this one. Thanks JC!
