You would probably want a camera with a wider lens (28mm or less).

hi pao, which church is this? Quiapo Church? Where the recent Black Nazarene festival was held?
![]() it would help if you could post what lens you used for this... the sky is washed out though...

Maybe try composing the shot from an angle, not right in front of building.

Even if you do not have a wide angle lens, download the free application called Autostitch from www.autostitch.net . Then position yourself to take several shots of the building, overlapping each frame by about 30 percent (you can pan from left to right for the shots or walk in a line parallel to the building to get the three overlapping shots). Use the Autostitch to blend them together. Try shooting on a different day and time when there is no traffic in front of the church. Also, As Drew84 suggested, shoot from an angle for variation. One last suggestion is to shoot the same building from the same position but at three different times of the day. This will help you better understand how light plays on the structure and when the best lighting may occur for that building.

I agree with Clockdoc on this one... several images stitched together would be the best way to go. If you're keen enough, you can actually zoom in on the details of the facade, take as many shots as you need to capture the whole scene and stitch together. Yes you'll end up with a large file, but the benefit is that you will have retained all of the finer details that make the subject interesting in the first place.
