Default Hellfire Club Dublin 2

The Hellfire Club Dublin
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/5
Focal Length: 17 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0/10 EV

Hi there again.

This is the front of the building, I played a bit with channels and added an nd filter and then cropped from original.

The building dates back to 18th century but some say it's a lot older. It was used by the hierarchy for meetings but as stories go it was mainly used for witchcraft, orgies and card games where land and people would be waged on, and on one rainy night a stranger was invited in to play cards, now as this stranger was constantly having the winning hand, another player looked under the table to check for extra cards but instead found the stranger to have cloven feet. With this the stranger lept from his chair and threw the cards onto the table and ran out the door, the others ran out to try and catch him, but failed. When they turned around to go back to the building it was on fire. This fire supposedly destroyed the whole building and it hasn't been restored since.

Hence the name The Hellfire Club.

Thanks guys.

Colm Noonan,

Way to go! You held back the best; now that's local color in b/w.

Still, I'd get a sky to fit the legend, lessen the crop top and bottom if possible, and stand on something tall to get your vertical perspective more vertical. Good shot.

There seems to be a flat, faded out bit on the top left of the building, my friend. I'd get some adjustment on there and the grass to the front too. Good story to go with the image.

Colm Noonan,

Try the tutorial: black and white is a good way to practice without too many headaches. My program language and functions are so different from PS3, it might add to the difficulty. Practice will get you there.
