Welcome Irving! Hope you're liking the forums. Lots if information here and great people to offer any help and encouragement you might need.
I really like these types of shots and this one has nice color. THe problem i am seeing is a bit of blown out area top middle. I tend to try and get the paths on more of an angle but this looks to be a pretty narrow walkway so that might not have been possible here. I would have gotten lower though and shot upwards but that too is more of a preference. I think it gives a more artistic effect. Not sure about that awning though....does it distract your eyes when you are looking at the shot? Do you find your eyes going back to it over and over? If it were sharper it might not be as imposing.

i have this thing for alley shots......especially one like this, where there are so many beautiful subjects to capture....the door in this image grabs me right off and so it has become the focul point.....the cropping is nice but not perfect......though, i don't like making a negative remark without a viable solution to offer.....maybe off the left to the leading edge of the doorway and a smidge off the top and the bottom to keep that focus point where it should be....the color saturation is beautiful, but i do agree with pinball that your highlights are too high.....if you're not opposed to editing, it can easily be brought down to a less distracting level....remembering always it's about that door....
