nice work. i think i may have kept the colour on the 2nd candle rather than the 1st but thats just personal preference.

You've captured the heat of the flame and the hot wax beautifully, but the other 5 flames seem sort of like an infinite reflection of the first. I'd like to see a little more realism of the other candles. Very good shot

I like the full colour in the first but you should try dropping the colour down in a gradient. Having the first full colour then the second at 80% of the colour and then 60% and so on.

thanks all - I'll give these ideas a go!

Manila_Joe - I like your idea - never thought of that... it may add to the entire photo without taking away from the 1st candle.
