Every once in a while isn't that bad right? What do you think about the DOF? Is it distracting? Should more of the shot been in focus? Thanks for having a look. Sorry if it makes you hungry!

I prefer a *slightly* deeper DOF on something like this.

I think if the ones in the back were all standing up the DOF would have been fine. Very crisp and sharp on the few up front. Really catching the blood pressure raising salt on each fry. I think since that one fry is laying down and the other crossing it is alot of area that draws the eye to the soft focus of them. Maybe next "once in a while" try going up to f/8 and see how that fairs. I like the idea and the setup and like I said those few fries that are up front sharp as a tack are raising my BP just looking at them.

I like the colour contrast but do think the DOF is a little distracting with so litle being in focus.

And you should me missy The tips in focus gives the illusion that their 'public'-meaning that I can steal a couple while your not looking. If they were all in focus they wouldn't look so...friendly? they'd just look like somebodies fries. This shot feels real good.
