afternoon, pooper....

romeo is a lovely little cockatiel.....but, i don't think the "head shot" does him any justice....since he lives with you, there's always opportunity for a reshoot.....consider a portrait orientation with the whole bird in the frame....

it looks like you used your flash too.....which did a great job of dropping your background to black, but, unfortunately, overexposed your subject.....consider too stepping back a few feet ....or stepping down your flash exposure if your camera allows....if not, a piece or two of tissue in front of it might do the trick..........

i'd love to see more of him if you do decide on another session.....

thanks peeper, this was my first pic taken with my first D. camera and just wanted to see where i stood. I'll continue to reshoot, but he doesn't exacting pose when he see the camera coming his way.
