Default One Raiy Night

Hey all!

First of all... a pre-story -

My friend and I had been out traking a few shots at one of the main attractions for our particular section of Japan... Iwakuni Castle. We were hoping to get on top of the mountain and take some night shots there but we had to scrap that idea last minute... [set schedule and no watch :-(] I digress. The night had been revealing som REALLY interesting shotys - mainly from all the lightly rained upon surfaces we kept finding, and no our rained on surfaces didnt make that cut lol. We were just about ready to leave, the rain was starting to come down even harder but a particular section of the park happened to be illuminated by this wonderful orange glow - see for your self

What do ya think?

Nikon D40@55mm

What a cool shot! I like it as it is, but can you darken the top right-hand corner?

I thinks its an amazing catch! Really looks wonderful. I would crop some of the dark area off its abit too much to my eyes! onther than that I really love the light coming through and wonder how a bit lighter and a touch more contrast would look?
Have you processed it at all to se what else you can come up with?

Very lovely! I, too, would crop a bit of the darkness on the right. I find the bits of light there to be a little distracting. Great catch!
