First goes to Winstons Patio Lights this week:

"It looks like Winstons is all set for a party on the patio. The five point arrangement of lights shows left / right symmetry as well as between the top and bottom of the frame (allowing for perspective) as well as that funky rotation from each light."

Second is Beninho's A Life as a Facade

"I was torn on this one as Beninho's image clearly relys on several layers of asymmetry for the overall effect. However, I was won over by the way it uses repeated symmetrical elements (the windows) and then exploits a number of inconsistencies (like the drain pipe, the paintwork and the details around some of the individual windows) to humanize the overall result."

And third is alila68's Umbrella

"alila68 has given us a strong pattern and vivid colour, both of which emphasise the numerous symmetries of the view. In some ways it is quite a minimalistic approach but bold clarity helps it stand out."
